“Before joining 2.5 years ago I was at rock bottom health wise. I could barely get up from the couch, struggled going up stairs, not fit into air plane seat belts and always have a afternoon nap to keep me going for the rest of the evening. I have been active, playing team sports and hitting the gym 3-4 times a week. I also had my super treadmill and was on it all the time.
My personal life was a mess whilst my professional career just hit the high note. I just got lazy. Don’t think where I would be if not joining MA, not a good place, diabetic probably. These days I have the energy to help out in the garden for hours, go for 10k runs and not struggle with any heavy lifting. Goals are still a bit more weight loss (5kg), then turn a bit of the body fat into upper body muscle, cut down running times and finally go for a run on the beach without knee supports.
Advice, rethink your own knowledge regarding nutrition and training. Start from scratch and never give up. So much is just in your head, being stubborn is not always an advantage and on other hand sometimes everything.”
