 Who is ManAlive For?
ManAlive is for any guy 30+ wanting to improve their health and fitness. Whether your goal is to lose weight, improve strength, reclaim your health or just make some like-minded friends we can help. Below are the most common reasons guys give us for joining the programme. Maybe one of these is you right now?
  • You’re currently training but are frustrated and disappointed by your results
  • You used to be in good shape but work or family have taken over, and now it’s hard to get motivated to exercise and eat well
  • You feel overweight, unhealthy and unfit, and are ready for a lifestyle change
  • Your health, fitness and weight are OK but you want to push your training, strength and fitness up a level
Even if none of the above are exactly where you are, we have the knowledge, experience and passion to help you achieve your goals
Is there a minimum level of fitness needed to join?
No. The programme is designed in such a way that you can work at your own level and progress as your strength and fitness improves. 

Is there a maximum age limit?
No. We have no upper age limit. Most of our guys are in their 30's, 40's and 50's with a few in their 60's. We generally don't accept guys younger than 30 but will view each application on it's merits.

If I have an injury/illness can I join?
It depends on many factors such as when the original injury/illness was, what happened and how you recovered (or not). This is a high intensity programme that works the whole body so you will need to be in general good health and free from injury to take part.

I hate 'diets' is this a diet club?
No. We're not a slimming club. We are a results based programme that uses training and nutrition as our tools to get you fitter, stronger, leaner and happier. Our nutrition programme is designed for busy guys. Just simple nutrition based on the latest research.

I have a hectic schedule do I need to train at certain times?
No. You can complete the workouts at any time that suits you, you'll just need to ensure you can do 3 times a week to get the maximum benefits. 

Do I need to be a gym member or have lots of kit? 
No. All the workouts can be done from home. For some workouts we give options to progress the intensity by using simple and cost effective kit such as Kettlebells or sandbags. We give advice and recommend the correct kit for the programme.
